It has been nearly a year since Rommel and I last competed having had a few problems, so it was fantastic to be back out last Saturday. It was a horrid day and a white knuckle drive in windy conditions, but great to celebrate a win in the Elementary Freestyle to music with 72.5% and qualifying us for 2015 Regionals. Well done Rommel and thank you to Lynn for coming with me.

The weather seems set to continue for a while but there is light at the end of the tunnel!!

We have lots of exciting events to look forward to in 2014. My clinics at the Fortune Centre and Darknoll Farm have been over subscribed, but really not surprising as most of you are jumping for joy at the prospect of having a lesson in the dry.

I have organised some more dates for the Fortune Centre indoor arena 22nd March and 12th April so book early and make sure you do not miss out.

During the summer I am running series of dressage clinics also at the fortune Centre. These will be in the outdoor arena which is 20x60 and are very affordable.

Louise and myself will once again be running our very popular Combined Training Coaching days at Higher Merley Farm, which consist of a Group flat lesson followed by a half hour recovery period (Which I know for some of you is not long enough!!!) and on to a jump lesson. There are a maximum of four in a group and total price of £30.

We are also running our Dressage competitions at Higher Merley Farm with many thanks again to Tracy Upshall for all her assistance helping us prepare the schedule, adding up all the scores and for sponsoring the pointís league, which will be running again this year. We all know that points make prizes, so take a look at what you could win.
