Clinics
This is basically tuition in one location and can be a mixture of activities and social time, with refreshments or BBQ. I usually book the location and organise the activities, but I can be booked just to come and teach.
They can follow any of the following format:-
- One to One Dressage Training
- One to One Jumping Training
- Group Dressage Training am – lunch – Group Jumping Training pm
- Test Riding Days
- Children’s Activity Days
Riding & Road Safety
This is course is a mixture of practical and theory and will cover all aspects of the Riding and Road Safety syllabus. A training programme will be sent to you either via E-mail or post (please send SAE) on receipt of this booking form.
Please book your exam through the BHS as soon as possible and let me know when you have confirmation. Application forms can be found on the BHS website www.bhs.org.uk and must reach their department 21 days prior to the exam. Exam fees are £35 for members and £45 non-members. Recommended reading is “Riding & Road Craft” which can be purchased from the BHS book shop £9.95 inc postage.
The fee is £180 per person payable in advance and covers seven and a half hours training and hire of the horse during training and during the exam.

Dressage Clinic
Gilly specializes in the overall performance of horse and rider. This clinic will be tailor made to suit you as an individual. You may wish to work on improving suppleness and way of going or you will have the opportunity to practice specific movements of tests in the 20 x 40 or 20 x 60 arenas, in preparation for your next competition. Advice can be given on improving performance, by focusing on key words and visualization especially in the warm up arena.

Adult Camp
Adult camp is a great time to meet new friends and spend time with your horse whilst receiving expert tuition from qualified instructors. The camaraderie that develops at camp is fantastic and you will be amazed at your progress and achievements.
There are many activities to choose from dressage test practice, pole work to jumping a course, long reining, simulated X.C. to TREC massage and coaching in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NPL) Limited places available on first come basis.

Trailer Reversing Course
This is a practical course which gives you the opportunity to reverse your trailer in a large open space to build confidence. It moves on to reversing into spaces and reversing around 90 degree corners. It also covers basic hitching and unhitching and legislation can be discussed throughout the day on request.
This course is designed to give you confidence in reversing your trailer and is not designed to get you through the DVLA car and trailer test.
